3 February 2026, Tuesday

Specialists of the Kama Territorial Administration conducted a career guidance lesson for 8th grade students of school No. 52 in Naberezhnye Chelny.

The main objective of the lesson was to introduce students to the profession of a state inspector in the field of environmental protection, to show its importance and significance. During the lesson, the management staff told the students about their daily work: how unauthorized landfills are detected, according to what rules air, water and soil samples are taken for analysis. Environmentalists also talked about what violations in the field of subsurface use have to be identified most often and how the mobile environmental laboratory works and for what purposes it is used. The children were particularly interested in the opportunity to see live how the mobile environmental laboratory works, find out what specialized equipment is installed on it and ask the inspectors questions about the specifics of their profession. Project work was organized to consolidate the material. The students, divided into teams, developed proposals for solving specific environmental problems of the city and the region, after which they presented and defended their mini-projects.

Such meetings help high school students not only to learn about sought-after professions in the field of ecology, but also to understand what skills and knowledge are needed for them, which contributes to achieving the goals of the federal project "Professionalism".
