Protect your Public Service account using the Trusted Contact service

28 January 2026, Wednesday

The Trusted Contact service increases the security of your account on the Public Services portal. The function allows you to involve a loved one to confirm operations related to account security. The trusted contact does not have access to the personal account and cannot perform any actions on behalf of the account owner.

When a password recovery request is made, an SMS with a code is sent to the trusted contact's phone. The trusted person, after making sure that there are no fraudulent actions, enters this code into the portal interface. After that, a temporary password for access is sent to the account owner.

Any close person who has reached the age of 18, such as a relative or friend, can be appointed as a trusted contact.
