Tatarstan Minister of Ecology Azat Ziganshin got acquainted with the progress of work on the reclamation of silt fields

One of the first working visits of the Minister of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan Azat Ziganshin was a visit to the silt fields of biological treatment plants in Kazan.

The facility is now 93% ready.

Silt sediment has been pumped into the geotubes, and work is underway to lay the upper screen and sand fill.

The work, covering an area of 94.1 hectares, is scheduled to be completed this year.

Let us recall that reclamation activities have been carried out since 2021 as part of the national project "Environmental well-being".
