The Minister of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan Azat Ziganshin held the first meeting with the staff of the Department

The first extended meeting of the new Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Azat Ziganshin, with the staff of the department took place today. The meeting was attended by employees of the central office and territorial departments of the Ministry.

Azat Ildusovich began his communication with an introduction and a short story about himself, noting his many years of experience in interacting with environmental issues in the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In his address to his colleagues, the Minister emphasized the importance of the work done by the team under the leadership of the previous minister Alexander Shadrikov.

"Thank you so much for the last 8 years, for those figures, for financing projects ... what was done by the staff of the Ministry, of course, is admirable and respected. It is a great responsibility to take part in all programs and complete all completed tasks," said Azat Ziganshin.

He identified environmental issues as key for the republic, noting the high level of literacy and the demands of the population on these issues, which, in his words, "encourages us to work better." The Minister announced plans to personally meet with the teams of the territorial administrations in the near future in order to assess the working conditions on the spot, listen to reports and suggestions.

"If there are interesting, fresh ideas, then my doors and the doors of the deputies are always open. I am determined to work constructively and productively together," Azat Ildusovich assured.

The new minister named the preparation and holding of the final board of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan at a decent level, which will be held jointly with the Ministry of Forestry, as one of the priorities for 2026.

At the end of the meeting, he wished everyone health, well-being and successful work for the benefit of the republic and the country, separately noting the importance of supporting the participants of SMO.
