During a survey of the territory of Almetyevsk, inspectors from the Southeastern Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan identified five cases of unauthorized waste disposal. On Shosseynaya Street in the horticultural non-profit partnership Voskhod, experts recorded waste from demolition and dismantling of buildings, as well as scrap asphalt pavements. In addition, environmentalists have calculated the amount of damage caused to the soil.
On one of the land plots, the landfill area was 118.7 sq.m. (the amount of damage was 99 thousand rubles), on site number 366, the volume of illegal waste disposal was 10.3 sq.m. In two more sites, the total landfill area was about 134 square meters. The owners of the land plots are individuals, and claims have been sent to them about the need to eliminate landfills and compensate for environmental damage.
In addition, inspectors recorded an unauthorized landfill with an area of 650.8 square meters on an unbridled land plot, and the amount of damage amounted to 544.6 thousand rubles. A claim has been sent to the Executive Committee of the Almetyevsk district for the elimination of pollution and compensation for environmental damage.
The total area of all identified unauthorized landfills was 914.4 square meters, and the total amount of damage caused to the environment was 765,238 rubles.
