Inspectors from the South-East helped to save the Red Book swans

7 January 2026, Wednesday

At the Almetyevsk reservoir, a local resident noticed two hissing swans that had not flown away for the winter.

Inspectors from the South-Eastern Directorate joined the assistance, who helped organize the transportation of birds.

They lived with the eco-activist Denis Maksimov. He provided them with comfortable conditions: he fed and took care of the birds himself.

Now they have a new home at the Nariman Manor eco-farm.

"It is at such moments that a real human attitude manifests itself. Help and kindness should be above all," said the inspector of the South-East, Alina Zalaltdinova.
