Naberezhnye Chelny schoolchildren learned about the work of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan
Inspectors of the Kama Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan held a career guidance meeting for 8th grade students of school No. 15 in Naberezhnye Chelny. The specialists introduced the students to the work of the environmental protection agency and talked about professions in the environmental field.
The inspectors came to the educational institution together with the mobile environmental laboratory of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan to demonstrate its work. The laboratory is equipped with modern equipment that allows for fast and accurate air condition analysis. The students were able to participate in the sampling process.
At the end of the meeting, the students were invited to Open Days at the Ministry, and later to practice in order to learn in detail about the work of the department.
Such career guidance visits contribute to the improvement of environmental culture among the younger generation and the popularization of environmental protection activities, which contributes to the achievement of the goals of the national project “Environmental well-being”.
