On Heroes of the Fatherland Day, Igor Egorov, an inspector of the Ministry of Ecology and a participant in the Batyrlar program, conducted an environmental lesson for the children of the Kaenkai kindergarten in the village of Kaleikino, Almetyevsk district.
Igor Egorov serves in the Southeastern Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan and has devoted almost 25 years to the protection of Tatarstan's nature. In 2022, he went to the zone of a special military operation, after which he returned and continues to serve for the benefit of his native republic in the South-Eastern Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
His return to the profession was made possible by the "Batyrlar. Heroes of Tatarstan" program, which helps its veterans to find a worthy application of their skills in peaceful life. Alexander Shadrikov, Minister of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, is the mentor of the hero in the program.
This is Igor Yakovlevich's fourth eco-lesson, which he devoted to proper waste management. SMO hero told the guys about sorting garbage, that it is important to collect waste paper, used batteries and how to dispose of them properly.
"It is important to take care of the world around us, to take care of animals, ponds and trees. Love for the Motherland is impossible without love for its nature," said Igor Egorov, a participant in the Batyrlar program.
The children watched an educational film, and after that they were able to personally communicate with SMO participant. At the end of the meeting, Igor Egorov presented the kindergarten with the book "Specially Protected Natural territories of the Republic of Tatarstan", which will help teachers continue the environmental education of preschoolers.
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan regularly conducts such eco-lessons, which form a responsible attitude towards the world around children and contribute to achieving the goals of the national project "Environmental well-being".
