The specialists of the Priiksky Department took part in comprehensive exercises to eliminate the oil spill
Comprehensive exercises aimed at working out actions in case of emergency oil spills were held in the Bavli district of the Republic of Tatarstan. The commission included inspectors from the Priiksky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The exercises were held at the booster pumping station "Aloil" for employees of CJSC "Aloil".
According to legend, the oil tank was depressurized. 5,000 cubic meters of oil products were spilled. There is a real threat of contamination of the territory.
The complex exercises took place in two stages. At the first stage, the participants worked out notifying all services and departments of an emergency, evacuated personnel and restricted access to the danger zone. At the second stage, the response forces began to eliminate the conditional spill: they cordoned off the territory with special means and stopped the spread of petroleum products. As a result of well-coordinated work, the spill was localized and eliminated.
As a result of the exercise, the high readiness of personnel and sufficient forces and resources to eliminate a major oil spill were confirmed. The exercises were evaluated satisfactorily.
