Participant of the unique program "Batyrlar. Heroes of Tatarstan" Igor Egorov completed an internship in the laboratories of GBU NPO Geocenter, subordinate to the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan. This training helped him to become familiar with advanced methods of monitoring and controlling natural resources and the environment.

Today, Igor serves in the Southeastern Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan and has devoted almost 25 years to the protection of Tatarstan's nature.  In 2022, he went to the special military operation zone, after which he returned and continues to serve for the benefit of his native republic in the Southeastern Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.

During the internship, Igor got acquainted with the work of geologists and ecologists, mastered modern equipment and technologies used to assess the state of nature. He visited a karst sinkhole in the Zelenodolsk region, where he saw field research in practice. Together with experts, he participated in the selection and analysis of atmospheric air samples using a mobile environmental laboratory.

Such training allows heroes like Igor Egorov not only to improve their knowledge and professional skills, but also to make a real contribution to environmental protection in Tatarstan.

Let's remind, the Batyrlar. Heroes of Tatarstan program, created on the initiative of the Head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, helps veterans of their military successfully adapt and develop in new professional fields.

Igor's mentor is Alexander Shadrikov, Minister of Ecology.
