29 October 2025, Wednesday

The Center for Extracurricular Activities of the Novo-Savinovsky district of Kazan hosted a full-time round of the Republican competition of environmental groups "Green Games".

Six teams from different regions of Tatarstan competed for the victory. The eco-teams presented their business cards, demonstrated their knowledge of nature, and also proved themselves in the team stage.

The participants were evaluated by a jury, which included Alina Zamaltdinova, Head of the Department of Environmental Education and Interaction with Public Organizations of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.

"For the guys, this is not just a competition — it's an opportunity to feel like a part of a large environmental movement. When children see the result of their initiatives, ecology becomes a significant topic for them," said Alina Zamaltdinova.

The competition consisted of five stages:

"Business card of the eco-team" - creative representation of the team;

Green Page — quiz on ecology and environmental laws;

Junk-Art — creation of handicrafts from discarded materials;

"Eco-logic" — tasks for understanding natural connections;

The team stage is a test of cohesion and the ability to work together.

According to the results of the competition, the winners were:

🥇 I place — Vityazi eco-detachment (Raifa Special Educational Institution of a closed type);

🥈 II place — Eco-Sms eco-detachment (MBOU "Rybno-Slobodskaya gymnasium No. 1" of the Rybno-Slobodsky district);

🥉 III place — eco-group "EcoAnimators" (Kazan City Children's Ecological and Biological Center).

The event was organized by the Center for Extracurricular Activities of the Novo-Savinovsky district of Kazan with the support of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan. Such contests contribute to the achievement of the goals of the national project "Environmental well-being".
