A landfill measuring 7,500 sq. m. was eliminated at the expense of "green" money in the Arsky district
In Tatarstan, work continues on the implementation of environmental protection measures at the expense of local budget revenues from environmental revenues. The events are formed within the framework of agreements concluded between the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Executive Committees of the districts.
Earlier, during an inspection of the Arsky district by inspectors of the Northern Department of the Ministry of Ecology, an unauthorized landfill was discovered. Ecologists have identified illegal storage of municipal solid waste near the village of Tashkent. The area of the violation was 7500 sq.m.
The liquidation of the landfill was included in the list of environmental protection measures that are implemented through environmental payments received by the budget of the Arsky district. As of today, work on the disposal of the landfill has been completed.
It should be recalled that the receipt of environmental payments to the budget creates a financial basis for the restoration and protection of natural territories. These funds make it possible to implement projects aimed at improving the environmental situation and improving the quality of the environment, which fully corresponds to the goals of the national project "Environmental well-being".
