Experts from the Ministry of Ecology took part in comprehensive exercises to eliminate the oil spill
Comprehensive exercises aimed at working out actions in case of emergency oil spills were held in the Aznakaevsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan. The commission included inspectors from the Priiksky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The first exercise was held at the "Oil preparation and collection point (Installation of pre-discharge of water from the oil filling point of the Mukharmetovskoye oil field)" of JSC "Akmai" in the village of Chalpy. Employees of the professional emergency rescue unit of LLC RegionSpas, representatives of JSC Akmai and fire and rescue unit No. 87 participated in the oil spill response measures. According to the exercise scenario, the territory was contaminated with oil. 100 cubic meters of oil products were spilled. The complex exercises took place in two stages. First, the participants of the exercise worked out notifying all services and departments of an emergency situation, evacuated personnel and restricted access of unauthorized persons to the danger zone. Further, the elimination of the conditional spill of petroleum products took place: with the help of special means and equipment, the emergency zone was cordoned off, and the spread of petroleum products was stopped. Thanks to the coordinated actions of the participants, the conditional spill was successfully localized and eliminated.
The exercises also took place at the "Oil preparation and collection Point (commercial oil metering unit)" for JSC "Geologiya". According to the training assignment, there was a spill of 3 thousand cubic meters of oil. The accident prevention measures were also divided into two stages. The participants promptly notified the rescue services and departments, ensured the safety and evacuation of workers, and then began to eliminate pollution. Specialized tools and equipment were used to neutralize the consequences of the incident.
As a result of both exercises, the conditional spills were completely eliminated, and the actions of the participants were assessed satisfactorily.
