After the summer holidays, the federal Recycling School: Electronics program continues to operate in the Republic of Tatarstan, which is held in support of the national Environmental Well-being project.
Schools, kindergartens, any budget institutions and authorities can participate and donate used electronics for free. To do this, you need to register on the official website of the Fund for Rational Use of Natural Resources and apply for participation: https://eko-fond.ru/electronics/.
You can take it for recycling:
• computer and office equipment;
• household appliances (including washing machines and refrigerators);
• power tools;
• Scientific and medical technology;
• Phones and personal gadgets;
• Electronic and electric toys;
• cartridges (must not exceed 10% of the volume of the delivered equipment).

Tatarstan takes an active part in the program. By the end of 2024, the republic took the second place in the "Leading Regions" nomination, second only to the Moscow Region. This year, residents sent 63.4 tons of waste from electronic and electrical equipment for recycling. 114 organizations from 21 districts of the republic have submitted such a number.
The Recycling School: Electronics program has been implemented in Tatarstan since 2022 under an agreement with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. Its main goal is to reduce environmental damage from improper disposal of electronic equipment and to develop an informed approach to hazardous waste management.
