More than two million measurements of atmospheric air were performed by automatic stations of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan
Since January 1, 17 automatic stations for monitoring atmospheric air pollution have performed 2.06 million measurements. Of these, 706,000 measurements were carried out by five stations located in Kazan.
In August, AAPCS recorded 11 exceedances of the maximum permissible concentrations of hydrogen sulfide:
- on AAPCS-5 (Kazan, I. Shakirov ave. , 3) 4 excess revealed;
- on AAPCS-2 (Kazan, Pavlyukhin str., 75) 3 exceedances were recorded;
- on AAPCS-22 (Naberezhnye Chelny, Tsentralnaya str., 6) 4 exceedances were recorded.
No excess was recorded on the other AAPCSs.
Since the sources of enterprises subject to state federal environmental control make the greatest contribution to the concentration of hydrogen sulfide, information about the recorded exceedances was sent to the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor and the Department of Rospotrebnadzor in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Additionally, we would like to inform you that the measurement data of the AAPCS on the Ecological Map of the Republic of Tatarstan may be temporarily unavailable due to the diagnosis and repair of ecological and analytical equipment. During routine maintenance, it is possible to display excessive concentrations of pollutants associated with the calibration and adjustment of instruments, rather than a real deterioration in atmospheric air quality.
