Today in Kazan, as part of the XX conference named after A. I. Shchepovskikh hosted the signing ceremony of three key cooperation agreements in the field of environmental monitoring and nature protection

The first agreement was the result of a joint effort between the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Regional Branch of the Russian Geographical Society, the Volga-Kama State Nature Reserve and the A. I. Shchepovskikh  Regional Public Foundation. It was signed by Alexander Shadrikov, Chairman of the regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society Dmitry Shiller, director of the reserve Yan Murzakhanov and Executive Director of the foundation Andrey Agarkov. The purpose of the agreement is to strengthen cooperation in the field of environmental protection and support environmental initiatives in Tatarstan.

The second agreement was signed by Alexander Shadrikov, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Mars Valiev, Director of the Scientific and Production Association for Geology and Subsoil Use of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Alexey Bulygin, General Director of Marine Environmental Protection Complexes and Systems LLC. The document provides for the development of scientific cooperation to improve the effectiveness of environmental monitoring in the region.

The third agreement was signed by Alexander Shadrikov, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Vladislav Kudryavtsev, Executive Director of the Association for the Development of Digitalization and Technological Support for Environmental Monitoring. The document is aimed at the development of modern environmental monitoring systems, the introduction of digital technologies and the improvement of legislation on nature protection both in Tatarstan and in Russia as a whole.
