Inspectors of the Northern Directorate, examining the Arsky district, revealed restrictions on the free access of residents to the Krasnaya River, as well as the use of a water body without a water use agreement.
Signs "the territory is private property" and "no travel" were installed in the water protection zone and in the coastal protective strip of the Krasnaya River, which contradict The Water Code of the Russian Federation, according to which the coastal strip is intended for public use and access to it must be free.
In addition, in the immediate vicinity of the river there are holiday homes, a barrel bath, a gazebo and a bridge. The inspectors also revealed a violation of environmental legislation, which resulted in the use of a water body, namely an unnamed tributary of the Krasnaya River, without permits.
Administrative and criminal liability is provided for violations of environmental legislation.
The materials on the case have been sent to the Tatar Environmental Protection Interdistrict Prosecutor's Office.
