The future begins today! Tatarstan schoolchildren join the ranks of young conservationists
Today, a meeting was held at the republican ecological camp-school "Biosphere", which brought together 50 young conservationists and representatives of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan. A leading specialist of the Department of environmental education, Ange Dmitrieva, introduced the students to the work of the department, told about the most interesting projects and competitions that open up wide opportunities for the implementation of environmental initiatives.
The students also got acquainted with the mobile environmental laboratory. The specialists not only demonstrated modern monitoring equipment, but also showed how measurements are carried out. Many students became interested in the profession of an ecologist and career opportunities in the environmental field.
The main event of the day was the dedication ceremony for young naturalists. Each participant received a tie and a Yunat badge, symbols of a large community of conservationists. Now students will become active participants in environmental projects under the auspices of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan and the regional society of Unnats.
Such events contribute to the formation of ecological thinking among the younger generation and help lay the foundations for a responsible attitude towards the environment, which contributes to the achievement of the goals of the national project "Environmental well-being".
