2 tons of used batteries were collected in the Priiksky zone of Tatarstan
Educational institutions of four districts of the Republic joined together in an environmental campaign and collected 2,085 kg of used food sources:
Aznakaevsky district — 1085 kg;
Muslyumovsky district — 500 kg;
Bavli district — 460 kg;
Yutazinsky district — 40 kg.
According to the environmentalists of the Priiksky department, this campaign is an important step towards preserving the environment and popularizing separate garbage collection. Specialists from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Tatarstan regularly conduct educational lessons to instill in the younger generation a careful attitude towards nature and teach them how to properly dispose of waste. newly collected batteries will be transported by the National Environmental Company to a recycling facility in Yaroslavl.
