Inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology have identified an unauthorized landfill in the Sovetsky district, Kazan

Environmentalists have discovered illegal waste storage in the Sovetsky district, Kazan.

 As part of the monitoring of the territory, inspectors found a landfill near the Volga highway. The landfill consists of several piles of household waste from the demolition of buildings, as well as construction debris.  It is located on lands designated for agricultural production.

The total area of contamination was 445 sq.m.

Upon violation of environmental legislation, a claim for compensation for damage caused to the environment is being prepared for the violator.
