The IX Republican Forum of Youth Environmental organizations "ECO-wave" has ended in Kazan
From May 13 to May 15, the IX Republican Forum of youth environmental organizations "ECO-wave" was held on the basis of the health and training complex "Baytik", which brought together more than 150 young activists from all over Tatarstan.
The forum participants spent three days learning practical skills in the field of environmental protection, presenting their environmental projects and sharing their experience in their implementation. The forum program included workshops, trainings and project sessions where young environmentalists could receive a professional assessment of their initiatives.
The final day of the forum was dedicated to the track meaning "Man as the foundation" and was attended by leading experts in the field of nature conservation and protection. The central event was a meeting of activists with Olga Manidicheva, Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
"Ecology is exactly the sphere that unites people regardless of age, profession and place of residence. Today, I see real environmentalists here who are not indifferent to the future of our planet. We all live in one common house, and your energy, your ideas and projects are what makes our world a better place. I believe that the future not only of our republic, but also of our country belongs to such young, active guys like you!" said Olga Vladimirovna in her speech.
The meeting was also attended by representatives of the All-Russian Ecological Public Movement "Ecosystem", who shared their experience in implementing large-scale environmental initiatives.
The final chord of the forum was the solemn awarding of the active participants, the best team of the forum days and the best curator. Special attention was paid to the winners of contests and competitions held within the framework of the forum events.
The key event of EcoWave was the IV Republican contest "About Ecology to each other", where the authors of the best projects had the opportunity to apply for grant support for their practical implementation.
The ECOwave Forum is organized by the Youth Environmental Organization "It will be Clean" of the Republic of Tatarstan and is aimed at educating the younger generation to respect nature, which directly contributes to achieving the goals of the national project "Environmental well-being".
