Business with pleasure: Almetyevsk hosted an eco-swim along the Steppe Zai River
In May, concerned residents of Almetyevsk, together with the SUNSUP SAP club and with the support of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan and inspectors from the Southeastern Department, held an exciting clean-up day. During a walk on water boards, 20 participants collected garbage on the Steppe Zai River and along its banks.
Despite the difficulty of moving on planks with additional weight from the collected garbage, residents collected 29 bags of garbage, and also separately removed window frames and tires, which could become the basis for the formation of coastal landfills.
An unusual approach to improving the environmental situation helps people to unite and take care of nature together, which is always supported by the Ministry of Ecology and helps to realize the goals of the national project "Ecological Well-being".
