This shows our activity, the activity of our Tatarstan citizens. Last year, almost 400,000 residents joined us, who went out for Wednesday clean-ups, Saturday clean-up days and put things in order. Tatarstan became the leader of the All-Russian campaign "Water of Russia" for 4 years in a row, where we proved that Tatarstan is the friendliest team!"
Together with the head of the Tatarstan branch of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Azat Ziganshin, Deputy Volga Interregional Environmental Prosecutor Dmitry Trusov and volunteers, Alexander Shadrikov took part in the tree planting. For three hours, residents of the Republic participated in workshops on making eco-bags, microgreens and were refreshed with delicious tea and buckwheat porridge in the field kitchen. The participating teams cleaned the Birch Grove, simultaneously sorting the garbage into fractions. 106 garbage bags were collected together.
"Traditionally, we remove those locations that our residents claim. The most important thing in our work together with our Tatarstan citizens is to bring cleanliness and order. It depends only on us what our Republic, our city, our district, our house will be like. This is an event that unites us, ecology unites us," said Alexander Shadrikov, Minister of Ecology.
