551 violations were detected during the sanitary and ecological two-month period in Tatarstan
Since the beginning of the sanitary and ecological two-month period, which started on April 1 in Tatarstan, 268 illegal landfills have been identified. This was announced at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan today by Ilnur Gubaidullin, First Deputy Minister of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chief State Inspector of the Republic in the field of environmental protection.
In the first 15 days of work, the supervisory authorities (the Ministry, Rosprirodnadzor, Rospotrebnadzor, Rosselkhoznadzor, Traffic police, Gosstroynadzor, Ministry of Forestry, State Committee for Bioresources, Housing Inspectorate, municipalities) revealed 551 violations in the republic, of which 268 were unauthorized waste disposal.
"Since April 1, joint visits have been conducted with representatives of GBU "Road Safety" in 8 districts of the Republic (Aznakaevsky, Baltasinsky, Alekseevsky, Tukayevsky, Yelabuga, Cheremshansky, Vysokogorsky, Leninogorsk municipal districts) in order to inspect roadside lanes and right-of-way lanes. During the visits that have already been carried out, 31 violations of environmental legislation were recorded," the speaker said.
In addition, commission detours of the Gorky and Kuibyshev railway right-of-way were organized this year. The right-of–way infrastructure of the Volga–Kama region was examined in the Tikhonovo - Bugulma and Bugulma-Ismetovo sections, which revealed possible violations in 7 districts of the Republic (Tukayevsky, Nizhnekamsk, Zainsky, Almetyevsky, Leninogorsk, Bugulminsky, Yutazinsky municipal districts) and the city of Naberezhnye Chelny. During the raids on April 10-11, 4 violations were revealed.
On April 3, an aerial survey was conducted in 8 districts of Tatarstan and the city of Naberezhnye Chelny, revealing 150 violations of environmental legislation.
Information about violations identified by citizens of the republic is received by the Republican Public Environmental Reception through all communication channels. The public reception received 339 applications (208 for waste, 40 for water pollution, 37 for air pollution, and 54 for others). Since the beginning of the year, 1,382 applications have been received (662 for waste, 185 for water pollution, 226 for air pollution, and 309 for others).
More than 63 thousand people and 1.5 thousand pieces of equipment were involved in the cleaning of the territories.
The sanitary and ecological two-month period started on April 1 in support of the national project "Ecological well-being".
The main purpose of the two-month period is the sanitary cleaning of the territories of settlements, the identification and elimination of landfills accumulated during the winter period and the restoration of territories to an appropriate ecological and sanitary-epidemiological condition after the snow cover has disappeared.
During the two-month period, raids and traditional detours of the right-of-way lanes of the Gorky and Kuibyshev railways in the Kazan region take place. Aviation is also involved in conducting surveys of territories.
