Exactly one month separates us from May 9th, the Day of the Great Victory. This year in Russia is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. There is not a single family in Russia that has not been affected by this war....Traditionally, for the 4th year in a row, the Ministry of Ecology has been preparing the heading "We remember your names..." specifically for this date. In this section, the children of our employees - great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren - remember their heroes, their grandfathers and great-grandfathers and dedicate poems to them.
Today, in memory of the feat of his great-great-grandfather, who was a participant in the Great Patriotic War, the Victory Day verse is being read by Radmir Vakhitov!
"My great-great-grandfather's name was Mahmut Nigmatovich Nigmatullin, he was born in 1896 in the village of Kzyl-Tau in the Apastovsky district. When the war started, he was 46 years old. He served in the 41st Motorcycle Engineering Brigade with the rank of major and fought bravely for his Homeland.
My great-great-grandfather died on March 6, 1945 in the city of Dublitza, which is located in Poland, just before he lived to see the Great Victory.
Our whole family is proud of him. We are grateful to him and everyone who defended our country during the Great Patriotic War, for the victory and the peaceful sky above our heads," says Radmir.
We remember! We are proud!
