What are the benefits of wetlands, and who lives on them?
The children of the Arsky district learned about this and many other things. Eco-lessons on wetlands were held in kindergarten and school.
Urnashbash kindergarten was visited by inspectors from the Northern Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan. Little nature lovers learned about what wetlands are and how they are useful for nature, as well as what grows on them and who lives there. The creative task inspired the guys: they created one of the main aquatic inhabitants, the frog.
A "Trip to the swamp" was organized for the fourth-graders of the Starochurilinsky school. Through games and quizzes, students learned more about wetlands and their structure, as well as tried to unravel well-known myths about swamps. Specialists from the Ashit State Nature Reserve of the State Committee for Biological Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and inspectors from the Northern Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan helped the children in studying nature.
