Meeting with future ecologists: excursion to the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan
Students of Kazan State Energy University (Engineering Ecology and Occupational Safety) and Kazan Federal University (Institute of Ecology, Biotechnology and Environmental Management) got a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the work of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
During the tour, the students visited an automatic air pollution control station and a mobile environmental laboratory. They were clearly shown the process of studying the atmosphere, describing in detail the parameters and indicators used in the analysis of air samples. This allowed the students to gain a practical understanding of modern methods of environmental monitoring.
Olga Manidicheva, Deputy Minister of Ecology, and Adel Alimov, Head of the State Environmental Supervision Inspectorate, shared information about the Ministry's activities, spoke about the environmental supervision system in the Republic of Tatarstan and methods to combat violations of environmental legislation. The meeting provided students with valuable information about career prospects in the field of environmental protection and helped them better understand the importance of the environmental profession.
