On the eve of the International Anti-Corruption Day, a seminar was held at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan on the presentation of information on income, expenses, property and property obligations, as well as on the settlement of conflicts of interest in the civil service.
Ilnur Gubaidullin, Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, stressed the importance of strict compliance with anti-corruption legislation and the need to unite the efforts of all levels of government, law enforcement agencies and citizens in the fight against corruption.
The seminar was attended by leading experts in the field of anti-corruption: Rustam Gayazov, Deputy Head of the Anti-Corruption Policy Department of the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Maxim Artamonov, Deputy Prosecutor of the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office, and Rashid Aliullov, Professor, Doctor of Sciences, Head of the Department of Administrative Law of the Kazan Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
The seminar participants discussed topical issues:
* Compliance with legislative obligations, restrictions and prohibitions in the field of anti-corruption.
* Personal interest and conflict of interest in the civil service.
* The results of the work of the commissions of the Republican Expert Group on Anti-corruption issues.
Maxim Artamonov elaborated on the typical mistakes identified by the prosecutor's office when checking information about income and property. Rashid Aliullov highlighted the organizational and legal mechanisms of combating corruption in modern Russia.
The seminar was attended by about 180 employees of the Ministry, including representatives of territorial administrations and subordinate organizations, who joined via video conference. The event highlighted the commitment of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan to the principles of transparency and honesty in its work.
