Environmentalists took water samples at Bolshoe Lebyazhye Lake after posting on social networks about a sea of fish
The Ministry of Ecology received information about the sea of fish in Lake Lebyazhye in the Kirovsky district of Kazan. State inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology, together with a specialist from the Central Department for Environmental Supervision, conducted a field visit.
The fact of a pestilence of fish was confirmed on Lake Bolshoe Lebyazhye. A pestilence of fish was recorded near the recreational area. Upon visual inspection, the facts of sewage discharge into the water body have not been established.
Samples of natural water were taken at several points. Currently, the samples are under laboratory examination, the first analyses show that no exceedances of the maximum permissible concentrations for chemical oxygen consumption have been detected.
In the afternoon, a commission survey of the lake is planned with the participation of specialists from the Ministry of Ecology, Rosrybolovstvo and TatarstanNIRO.
