A mobile automated station for monitoring of air pollution was presented in Almetyevsk

A mobile automated station for analytical monitoring of air pollution was put into operation in Almetyevsk, and it will provide service on the South-Eastern territory of the Republic of Tatarstan.
At present, 2 stationary posts of automated air control operate in Almetyevsk allowing to control activity of the nearest companies as possible sources of air pollution. All data are controlled by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. A mobile station will allow to control air condition near any company located on the south-eastern territory. The station can also make measurements during movement, which is important when it comes to inspection of air pollution level on roads. The station measures concentrations of harmful impurities, namely ammonia and nitrogen oxides, carbon oxide, sulfur dioxide, sulphurated hydrogen, hydrocarbon, as well as determines meteorological indices. As part of the new national project "Environmental well-being" Tatarstan has planned the implementation of 8 environmental initiatives with total funding of 3 billion rubles. The main part of the funds will be used for work on the federal project "Water of Russia", Minister of Ecology Azat Ziganshin said at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Today, at the weekly staff meeting with the heads of structural and territorial divisions, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Azat Ziganshin, presented badges and official identification cards to the staff of the department.
As part of the monitoring of the territory of Naberezhnye Chelny, inspectors of the Kama Department revealed a violation of environmental legislation.
