2.5 million measurements have already been carried out by the air purity monitoring stations of the Ministry of Ecology this year
From January 1 to July 26, 2024, 17 automatic air pollution control stations of the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan performed more than 2.513 million measurements, including five automatic air pollution control stations in Kazan performed more than 771 thousand measurements.
According to the data received from the stations, from July 19 to 26, exceedances in pollutants in the atmospheric air of Kazan and Zelenodolsk district were recorded:
AAPCS-1 (Osinovo village, Zelenodolsky microdistrict), exceeding the permissible content of hydrogen sulfide (20 exceedances) were recorded;
AAPCS-5 (Kazan, I. Shakirova ave., 3) hydrogen sulfide exceedances were recorded (5 exceedances).
No excess pollutants were recorded at the other control stations located in Kazan.
Information about the health of the equipment:
- The gas analyzer for measuring formaldehyde at AAPCS-1 (Osinovo village, Zelenodolsky microdostrict) has been under diagnosis since 07/23/2024.
- The gas analyzer for the determination of dihydrosulfide and sulfur dioxide at AAPCS-2 (Kazan, Pavlyukhina str., 75) has been under diagnosis since 23.07.
- The gas analyzer for measuring carbon monoxide has been under verification since 09.07.
With this in mind, data on formaldehyde at AAPCS-1, dihydrosulfide and sulfur dioxide at AAPCS-2, carbon monoxide at AAPCS-4 are not displayed on the Ecological Map of the Republic of Tatarstan.
