63% of Tatarstan citizens' appeals are about landfills
Since the beginning of the year, the Republican Public Environmental Reception has received 5,191 appeals from citizens.
2,192 messages were reviewed in the School Eco-patrol mobile application, 875 notifications were received through the People's Control system, 136 appeals were registered on the POS feedback platform and 1988 – through the Ministry's Internet reception.
Traditionally, the most pressing issue among the population is the issue of unauthorized landfills. This category accounts for the majority of all requests - 3,277. Also, 706 appeals were related to the quality of atmospheric air and 619 appeals were related to the quality of water.
