This day is a tribute of respect and appreciation to people who have devoted their whole lives to the fishing industry. It unites not only fishermen, representatives of the oldest profession in Russia, but also a considerable part of the country's residents, whose work is related to the study, reproduction, processing and preservation of fish supplies. Fishing is not an occupation for everyone, it requires special endurance and the ability to withstand difficulties, so only persistent, strong–minded people remain in this profession. Special thanks to industry veterans who share their experience and knowledge with those who are just starting their professional career.
