The Minister for Ecology Artem Sidorov familiarized with implementation of the ecological program of “Nizhnekamskneftekhim”

The Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov visited “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” OAO in the framework of a business trip. The Minister inspected biological waste treatment facilities of the company, where at present a new air pollution control station is being accepted for operation. It is a fifth such facility in the automated system for air monitoring of “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” OAO — four of them are located along the perimeter of the territory of the joint-stock company and in the sanitary protection zone. Moreover, Artem Sidorov familiarized with implementation of nature protection events at the closed and actual landfills, and at buffer pond on the stream Strelochny log.
Then a meeting of the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov with Director General of the joint-stock company Oleg Nesterov took place at “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” OAO, in the course of which it was acknowledged that in spite of considerable recent augmentation of overall production, specific discharges of hazardous substances into the air and the amount of purified wastewaters, discharged into water bodies, have considerably decreased. During the ecological program (2007-2013) the company has implemented 244 nature protection events. Besides automated system for air pollution monitoring, the company has also arranged the same system for control of wastewaters at plants manufacturing styrole, polyester resin, and monomer isoprene. The information from observational stations is obtained in online mode and transferred not only to the security department, but also to the “video-wall” of the central dispatching office where the information on the results of analyses and on the state of each plume is transferred.
The Minister for Ecology Artem Sidorov acknowledged the company’s extent of work in the field of nature protection and implementation of modern ecological technologies, in particular, for cleaning of buffer ponds and reconstruction of the actual landfill for waste dumping.

A cooperation agreement was signed today between the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Judo Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan. The document was signed by Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Azat Ziganshin and President of the Tatarstan Judo Federation Pavel Nikolaev.

Veterans of military operations, active staff, as well as relatives and friends of the heroes gathered in the hall to share the joy of returning and honor the memory of those who forever remained at their combat post.
