The Government has approved a new regulation on conducting a state environmental assessment
The Government of the Russian Federation has approved a new Regulation on conducting a state environmental assessment. This Provision has been developed in order to implement the norms of federal legislation (Federal Law No. 673-FZ of 12/25/2023 and Federal Law No. 681-FZ of 12/25/2023), which introduced significant changes to the procedure for conducting state environmental expertise. The new regulation will simplify the examination procedure, and new safety requirements will also be introduced to strengthen control.
This resolution comes into force on September 1, 2024 and will be valid until September 1, 2030.
We remind you that specific objects are subject to state environmental expertise, the list of which is defined by Article 11 (federal level SEER facilities) and Article 12 (regional level SEER facilities) of the Federal Law "On Environmental Expertise".
In the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry organizes and conducts state environmental expertise of regional-level facilities.
The organization and conduct of the state environmental assessment of federal-level facilities is carried out by Rosprirodnadzor.
