The "Marathon of green affairs" is marching through Tatarstan
From May 20 to June 5, the All-Russian ecological social movement "Ecosystem" is holding the All-Russian environmental campaign "Marathon of Green Affairs". The campaign is aimed at forming eco-habits and involving the public in environmental events.
The Republic of Tatarstan has actively joined the green marathon. On May 22, the participants of the campaign released
190 thousand carp fry in Nizhnekamsk and Kuibyshev reservoirs. In this way, enterprises help to restore the biological resources of the republic.
From May 24 to 26, activists of public organizations will hold a number of eco-educational events in the regions of the republic, in particular, the regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society is conducting rafting on the Mesha River in the Pestrechinsky district.
In addition, today clean-up days will be held on the lake today Chistoe of Laishevsky district and lake Kaban in Kazan. The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan will also hold a campaign "Clean forests".
From May 26 to June 2, we invite every resident of Tatarstan to take care of stray animals.
On May 29, employees of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan will hold a series of events "Open Laboratory" in the regions of the republic. Also on this day, we urge everyone to support the Earth Hour campaign to draw attention to environmental and climate change issues and turn off the lighting for 1 hour from 20:30 to 21:30 hours.
On June 1, the International Day of Purification of Reservoirs on the lake Glubokoe will be held. We will give out all the necessary equipment on the spot, after cleaning, delicious porridge and tea are waiting for everyone. Also on this day, municipalities will hold clean-up days.
On June 3, the opening of the street interactive exhibition "Irbis. The Invisible Cat" in the cannon yard of the Kazan Kremlin Museum-Reserve. The exhibition consists of seven unique multi-touch objects where you can learn not only general information about the snow leopard in Russia, but also see the world through its eyes. The snow leopard is listed in the Red Book, therefore, the main purpose of the exhibition is to draw attention to the problem of the disappearance of the snow leopard population.
On June 4, a campaign will be held to clean up the coastal territory "Clean Coast" in Zelenodolsk district, and on June 5, "Clean Camp" campaigns will be organized in children's health camps of the Republic of Tatarstan.
On World Environment Day, June 5th, we urge everyone to give up cars for at least a day and switch to bicycles. Also on this day, the Regional Branch of the All-Russian Movement of Children and Youth "Movement of the First" will hold a campaign to create art objects from garbage and recyclables "If only you knew what kind of trash ...".
The marathon will end on June 6 with an ecological flash mob of dance groups "Together we are ECO–Power" at the Miras Heritage camp in Zelenodolsk district.
