43 violations were recorded today by environmentalists during a joint raid with representatives of Russian Railways
Today, as part of the sanitary and ecological two-month tour, a commission detour was held to check the sanitary condition of the Gorky Railway right-of-way and adjacent territories. Inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology, Rosprirodnadzor of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Transport and Road Management of the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of the Kazan region of the Gorky Railway, administrations of Kazan districts and Executive Committees of Zelenodolsk and Vysokogorsky districts took part in the raid. A commission detour was made along the route: Kazan - Vysokaya Gora - Vosstaniya - Sviyazhsk - Kazan. During the detour, 43 violations of environmental legislation were revealed. Traditionally, most of the violations are unauthorized waste storage.
"During the inspection, we recorded numerous garbage storage sites. In the future, all violations will be worked out: warnings will be issued to eliminate violations of the law, then we will check how the district has fulfilled this warning. I would like to remind you that it is already the middle of our sanitary two-month period, we need to be more actively involved in cleaning work," said Alexander Vinogradov, Deputy Head of the Central Department of the Ministry of Ecology.
