Dear geologists! Industry veterans!
For almost sixty years now, on the first Sunday of April, we have been honoring courageous people, real pioneers, explorers of the subsoil. Geologists, geophysicists, surveyors, topographers, scientists, miners are both very young specialists and industry veterans who spent many years on field expeditions away from home. Your job is hard work that requires constant research, deep scientific knowledge, patience and dedication.
We live in a republic that can rightfully be called a storehouse of underground wealth. The hydrocarbon base you have explored, groundwater deposits and solid minerals are the most important component of the economic foundation of the region and the country. Special thanks to the veterans of the industry! Thanks to your selfless work, the Tatarstan land has become a home for many workers who have come here to build a new life. Thank you for your dedication to your chosen cause! I am sure that your professionalism and dedication are traditionally passed on to the younger generation of geologists.
