The operating modes of the reservoirs of the Volga-Kama cascade were set for the period from April 6 to April 25.
According to calculations prepared by Rosvodresursy based on forecast data on the inflow of water into the reservoirs of the Volga-Kama cascade, the start of a special spring release to ensure agriculture and fisheries of the Lower Volga is scheduled for April 11.

According to calculations, the maximum discharge costs will be carried out when the Kuibyshev reservoir reaches levels close to the normal retaining level – 53.0 m BS.
At the same time, adjustments to the start and schedule of the special release are possible, taking into account the development of the spring flood.
Taking into account the current water management situation, the proposal of Rosvodresursy to establish discharge costs of 6,300 cubic meters/s from April 6 to April 10 was supported. From April 11 – in accordance with the schedule of special admission.
The established modes of operation of hydroelectric reservoirs will be published on the official website of Rosvodresursy.
