2 February 2024, Friday

Today, on World Wetlands Day, our inspectors told the students about these unique ecosystems.

Specialists of the Kama department conducted an eco-lesson for kids of the Chelny kindergarten No. 85. They explained to the children how the swamp differs from the lake, why the water here is cleaned by itself and told why the frogs choose swamps. In memory of the lesson, all the children took home the "jumping frog" - origami. Inspectors of the Zakamsky department held a lesson for schoolchildren of Nizhnekamsk, and specialists of the Central Department visited the kids of Kazan kindergarten No. 44. Ecologists showed the children what plants and animals live in the territory of unique swamp ecosystems and where peat comes from in the swamps.  By the way, it is he who cleanses the water. The swamp consists of 90% water with a high content of peat acids (decomposed plant substances). Such an environment slows down the growth of bacteria and slows down the decomposition of organic substances.
