Tatarstan's achievements under the national project "Ecology" will be discussed within the framework of the bus tour "Tatarstan-Republic of Achievements"
Today, a bus tour of the regions "Tatarstan – Republic of Achievements" has started in the republic. A photo exhibition dedicated to the achievements of Tatarstan was organized as part of the bus tour. Residents will be told about the successes and achievements of the district, the republic and the country. Until March 1, the bus will travel through 29 districts of Tatarstan. Well-known politicians, industry ministers and representatives of regional authorities will take part in the panel discussions that will take place within the framework of the tour. On January 22, Deputy Minister of Ecology Egor Tarnavsky will be a speaker. In the Nurlat district, he will talk about pilot projects that are being implemented in the republic within the framework of the national Ecology project. Let us recall that in 2023, the Republic traditionally took part in 4 federal projects – these are "Improvement of the Volga", "Clean Country", "Preservation of unique water bodies" and "Conservation of forests". 3.5 billion rubles were allocated for their implementation. 2.8 billion is federal funds. In 2023, the reclamation of the Samosyrov landfill was completed. This is a pilot project, reclamation was carried out with the introduction of an active degassing system. The project implementation period is 2021-2023, the cost of remediation measures is 872.2 million rubles. Thanks to the project, living conditions for 343 thousand people have been improved. Another pilot project has also been completed in Tatarstan – the dismantling of the inactive pipeline of the Ozernoye oil field. The dismantling is fully completed, 23.7 km of pipes have been lifted. The cost of sales amounted to 930.5 million rubles.
In total, more than 10 billion rubles were allocated for environmental measures in 2023, including 5.8 billion from enterprises. The Republic has been a leader in the Volga Federal District for many years in this indicator. This year, within the framework of the national project "Ecology" in Tatarstan, it is planned to complete work on 3 events. These are the reclamation of silt fields of biological treatment facilities in Kazan, the reconstruction of biological treatment facilities in Kazan, and the reclamation of the second section of oil-contaminated lands in the village of Shemordan in the Sabinsky district will be completed. Also, on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation, a new federal project for the improvement of water bodies is being formed this year with a deadline for implementation until 2030. As part of the preparation of the project, Tatarstan has formed and sent a list of measures for the environmental improvement of 29 water bodies and the reconstruction of 17 wastewater treatment plants. Let us recall that today more than 100 different republican and federal projects and programs are being implemented in Tatarstan. The main ones are national projects initiated by the President of Russia.
