On January 9, Tatyana Leonidovna Vasilyeva, head of the Hydrogeology Department, celebrated her birthday. Of course, there were a lot of words and congratulations on this day, and today we want to introduce you to this wonderful woman and a professional with a capital letter. In 1994, Tatyana Leonidovna, and then just a girl Tatyana, graduated from the Faculty of Geology of KFU. She says that she was lucky and during her practice she traveled all over the Urals, Yakutia, the Krasnoyarsk Territory, and visited Siberia. "Geologist is a romantic profession. Tents, hiking, field work, research and discovery. I managed to work in different parts of our big country, see the beauty of forests and lakes, admire the taiga," says our heroine.
After university, she spent several years searching for underground waters of Tatarstan as part of the geological expedition "Tatarstangeology". And in 2003, she was invited to work at the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan as head of the Department of Hydrogeology and Water Use Regulation. For 20 years now, Tatyana Leonidovna has been a delight to the women's team of our department. Professionalism, humanity, responsibility – colleagues appreciate her for her kindness and responsiveness. More to that, our heroine is also a deeply religious person, she does not just go to church, but studies, in her free time, with the Sunday school children. She adores her granddaughter and often spends time with her family in the country, pampering her family with berry preparations and compotes. "Of course, each of us has different concepts of happiness. For me, happiness is my family, harmony in my soul, the warmth of my loved ones, so I'm probably still a very happy person," says our wise geologist and we completely agree with her. The entire staff of the Ministry of Ecology once again congratulates Tatyana Leonidovna on her birthday and wishes her long life!
