Young ecologists from Tatarstan became winners in the nomination "Popular water" at the All-Russian Children's Environmental Forum in Chelyabinsk
The All-Russian Children's Environmental Forum has started in Chelyabinsk today. 18 regional teams came to demonstrate their projects in various sections, such as "Clean Air", "Clean Country", "Clean Water" – these are 2.5 thousand schoolchildren from all regions of the country, including the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics. The Republic of Tatarstan was represented by 26 schoolchildren, including young naturalists (children from the lyceum and school of Innopolis, Bishninsky school, the Multilingual complex "Adymnar – the way to knowledge and consent"). Eco-activists of the republic presented a project on cleaning the coastlines by school detachments. Tatarstan guys surprised everyone with the most detailed approach to clean-ups on the shores. The young naturalists said that the analysis of satellite images of LANDSAT – 8 helps them to identify and monitor the dynamics of pollution of coastal zones of reservoirs. Such a cosmic view from a height allows you to quickly find the most problematic areas and quickly connect school detachments for cleaning territories.
Let us recall that the Republic of Tatarstan has been the winner for two years in a rowin the All-Russian campaign "Water of Russia" of the federal project "Preservation of unique water bodies" of the national project "Ecology". Every year the number of activists is growing and now every third resident of Tatarstan is a participant in environmental campaigns held in the Republic.
