- Execution of registration, state registration and issuance of licenses for the use of subsurface areas of local significance in the Republic of Tatarstan, making changes and additions to them, as well as their re-registration and making decisions on early termination, suspension and restriction of the right to use subsurface areas of local significance in the Republic of Tatarstan;
- Coordination of the calculation of the probable damage that may be caused to the life, health of individuals, property of individuals and legal entities as a result of an accident of a hydraulic structure on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan;
- Coordination of technical projects for the development of deposits of common minerals, technical projects for the construction and operation of underground structures of local and regional significance not related to the extraction of minerals, with the exception of underground structures for the disposal of radioactive waste, production and consumption waste of hazard classes I – V, storage of hydrocarbon raw materials, technical projects for the elimination and conservation of mine workings, drilling wells and other structures related to the use of subsurface resources in relation to subsurface areas of local significance;
- Conducting a state examination of mineral and groundwater reserves, geological information on the subsoil plots of local significance provided for use, as well as reserves of common minerals and groundwater reserves that are used for drinking and household water supply or technical water supply, and the volume of production of which is no more than 500 cubic meters per day;
- Making decisions on the establishment, modification, termination of the existence of sanitary protection zones for drinking and household water supply sources in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan;
- Establishment of the fact of discovery of deposits of common minerals;
- Issuance of a permit for the creation of artificial land plots on water bodies that are federally owned and located on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan;
- Registration of documents certifying the specified boundaries of the mining allotment in relation to subsurface areas of local significance, the development of which is carried out without the use of blasting operations on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan.
