The examination of the draft Decree "On approval of the limit of hunting resources extraction in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan for the period from August 1, 2023 to August 1, 2024" has been completed
The state ecological expertise of the draft Decree of the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan "On approval of the limit of extraction of hunting resources on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan for the period from August 1, 2023 to August 1, 2024" with materials justifying the volumes of withdrawal of hunting resources has been completed.
The customer of the state ecological expertise is the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Biological Resources. As experts participated: Ilgizar Rakhimov - Head of the Expert Commission, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Bioecology, Hygiene and Public Health of the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology K(P)FU and Nikolay Shulaev – Associate Professor, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Zoology and General Biology of the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology of K(P)FU. Experts from the Ministry were employees of the Department of evaluation of planned activities Anna Vasilyeva and Hindiya Galieva.
Let us recall that the limits and quotas for the extraction of hunting resources (elk, Siberian roe deer, noble deer, lynx, badger) are approved annually, which allows the use of hunting resources without causing damage to the reproduction of populations. A distinctive feature of the new project is that for the first time an updated method of accounting for the number of hunting resources is used – the noise run method.
The Expert commission noted the compliance of the submitted materials with environmental requirements, the level of environmental impact during the removal of animals (elk – 865 individuals, Siberian roe deer – 668 individuals, noble deer – 5 individuals, lynx – 3 individuals, badger - 189 individuals) is acceptable.
