Clean Air operation launched in the Republic of Tatarstan
From June 1 to September 30 in Tatarstan, specialists of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with employees of the Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, within the framework of operation "Clean Air", will carry out measures to identify the operation of vehicles with excess toxicity standards. Environmentalists plan to inspect at least 6 thousand cars for the level of dangerous pollutants. Last year, 183 violations were detected.
Let us recall that the operation "Clean Air" has been taking place since 1983. Vehicle inspection takes place on the main highways, checkpoints and enterprises. The purpose of the event is to monitor compliance with the standards for the content of pollutants in the exhaust gases of motor vehicles and to prevent the negative impact of vehicles on the atmospheric air.
