The Russian Geographical Society has launched a large-scale environmental project "Springs of the Russian Geographical Society", in which the specialists of the Russian Geographical Society will check the water from 100 springs in different regions of Russia, and 10 of them will be landscaped.
Water quality will be checked in reservoirs, including mineral composition, the presence of toxic substances and microflora with the number of bacteria and algae. Information signs with information about the state of the water will be installed on the territory of the springs.
Landscaping will include the installation of benches, signs with a full chemical analysis of water, laying wooden decking, as well as clearing and strengthening the riverbed.
Now 10 water bodies of Tatarstan are declared in the list of 100 springs of Russia. Among them are springs that are located in the Kazanka River basin in the Arsky and Vysokogorsky districts.
