Employees of GBU "NPO Geocenter" conducted measurements of the groundwater level in 35 wells in Kazan

In 2023, employees of GBU "NPO Geocenter" continue to monitor groundwater. To date, measurements of groundwater levels have been carried out in 35 observed hydrogeological wells on the territory of the city of Kazan. These works make it possible to determine flood zones during flood periods, as well as to obtain a forecast of flooding for the spring rise of the upcoming year. 

Also, in order to prevent contamination of drinking water supply sources, specialists of the State Budgetary Institution "NPO Geocenter" conduct underground water sampling in areas of the republic where intensive oil production is carried out.

Based on the results of the above-mentioned works, information is sent to the interested state bodies of the republic.
