On March 20, the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan received information about the contamination of the Malaya River near Rechnaya Street with petroleum products. The Malaya River is a tributary of the Steppe Zai River, the water protection zone is 100 m, the coastal protective strip is 50 m.
The inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology immediately went to the place, the territory of this water body was examined in the area of the highway bridge on Geofizicheskaya St. in the area of KNS-1 Almetyevsk-Vodokanal LLC. It was found that as a result of a burst of an oil pipeline, an oil spill occurred on the soil, and a metal pipe was found in the coastal protective strip of the Malaya River, through which water containing petroleum products entered the water body. There is a strong, pungent smell of petroleum products on site. Environmentalists took water samples:
The Malaya River is 100 m above the place where oil products from a metal pipe enter the coastal protective and coastal strip of the Malaya River. The water is clean, odorless and has no signs of oil products and other features.
Malaya River – under the highway bridge, Geofizicheskaya St., there are signs of contamination, fragments of oil emulsion, a strong pungent smell of petroleum products.
The Malaya River is 450 m below the highway bridge of Geofizicheskaya St.. in the area of Rechnaya str., 9, the water has a faint smell of petroleum products.
Water samples were also taken from the Steppe Zai River.
Currently, all the selected samples are in operation.
