The court satisfied the requirements of the Kazan interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office on the liquidation of a landfill in the water protection zone of the Kuibyshev reservoir

In 2022, the Kazan interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office established waste storage on an area of 24,255 sq.m on a land plot with cadastral number 16:50:170617:1 in the water protection zone of the Kuibyshev reservoir in the Volga district of Kazan.

In connection with the non-elimination of violations of the law according to the previously submitted submission of the prosecutor's office, a statement of claim was sent to the Sovetsky District Court of Kazan with a demand to liquidate an unauthorized waste dump. The requirements of the Kazan interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office have been fully satisfied, the court has imposed a period of 6 months from the date of entry into force of the court's decision to eliminate violations, the court's decision is at the stage of voluntary execution.
